Cathy Allen is a contemporary abstract artist based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Her paintings explore the relationship between place, memory and the natural and built environments that shape our lives.
Working from her forest studio, Cathy creates layered, textured paintings through intuitive mark-making, drawing on her connection to place and the changing surfaces of the world around her.
