Cathy Allen is a contemporary abstract artist based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Her paintings explore the relationship between place, memory and the natural and built environments that shape our lives.
Working from her forest studio, Cathy creates vibrant, textured paintings through intuitive mark-making, layered colour and a deep connection to the world around her.
